DETAILS: Let’s have some fun and Dance for Danny. Join us on Sunday, October 18th at 10 am Central Time for a virtual Zumba class from the comfort of your home. Often called "exercise in disguise," Zumba combines great music and easy to follow dance steps for a total body workout.
This family-friendly and all levels class will be instructed by The Party Starters: Diane Garvey & Regina Mundt. The Party Starters have led workouts at Chicago’s Millennium Park, Navy Pier and were featured on ABC's Windy City Live morning show. This will be their 5th DDF Zumba Fundraiser, and they are thrilled to be back Dancing for Danny.
This class is part of the Danny Did "1 in 26 Challenge", named for the 1 in 26 Americans who will develop epilepsy in their lifetime. The registration fee is $26 per household. There is also $50 option, which allows you to enjoy the class, help even more kids, and automatically enters your name into our raffle for a Danny Did dri fit tee and other fun swag!
Event proceeds will support Danny Did and its program to fund seizure detection devices for families in need. COVID-19 has dramatically stressed the resources of the entire nonprofit sector. Seizures do not stop during a pandemic, and Danny Did must continue to provide critical mission-based programs and grants to the epilepsy community.

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT LEGAL DOCUMENT YOU HAVE AGREED TO WHEN REGISTERING WITH THE DANNY DID VIRTUAL ZUMBA CLASS WHICH WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 18, 2020.
WAIVER OF NEGLIGENCE & COMPLETE RELEASE OF LIABILITY (“RELEASE AGREEMENT”)
GENERAL WAIVER AND RELEASE. I wish to participate in the DANNY DID VIRTUAL ZUMBA CLASS (the “Yoga Class”). I am aware of and appreciate the risks which may result from my participation in the Zumba Class. I am voluntarily participating in the Zumba Class with full knowledge of the dangers, rigors and risk involved. In exchange for and in consideration of being permitted to participate in the Zumba Class, I agree to assume any and all risks of personal injury and to waive my rights and release in advance and hold harmless the Danny Did Foundation, including its officers, directors, employees, and the Zumba Class instructor (collectively “Releasees”) in relation to any and all liability or claims for damages, personal injury or property damage, including but not limited to medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, attorneys fees and court costs, which I may now have, or which I may hereafter have as a result of my participation in the Zumba Class. I understand and agree that this Waiver and Release is binding on my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives.
MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENTS AND REPRESENTATIONS. I represent and assert that I am in good health, physically fit, and medically capable of participating in the Zumba Class, and my medical care provider has approved my participation. I acknowledge that I, and I alone, am solely responsible for my personal health and safety during the Zumba Class. I also acknowledge full and sole responsibility for my own medical expenses and that I have health insurance.
PRIVACY AND PUBLICITY. I further understand that my name, photograph, voice or likeness may be used by Danny Did Foundation without compensation. I consent to and authorize, in advance, such use and waive any rights of privacy and/or publicity I may have in connection therewith.
GOVERNING LAW, VENUE and JURY WAIVER. I agree this Release Agreement shall be governed by, and construed and interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the State of Illinois. I specifically waive my right to a trial by jury and agree to binding mediation as set forth in this Release Agreement.
MANDATORY MEDIATION. I agree and consent that in the event any dispute arises between myself and the Releasees that such dispute will be decided and determined through binding mediation undertaken at JAMS, Chicago using a mediator that is either selected by the parties by unanimous agreement or randomly assigned by JAMS. The cost of such mediation shall be paid by the party seeking mediation.
I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ALL ITS CONTENTS. I understand that, in the event any provision contained in this Waiver and Release shall, for any reason, be held to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect any other provision of this Waiver and Release, and the remaining portions shall remain in full force. If I am under 18 years of age at the time of registration, my parent or legal guardian has carefully reviewed this Waiver and Release, understands and consents to its terms, and authorizes my participation by his/her checking the box while registering as their signature and agreement of this waiver and release.
BY CHECKING THE BOX WHILE REGISTERING ONLINE, I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
NOT CHECKING THIS BOX WILL VOID THIS WAIVER AND PROHIBIT YOU FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE DANNY DID VIRTUAL ZUMBA CLASS.
