Before our son Danny died at age 4 from Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy – SUDEP – we had never heard that term. We wondered how it was possible that the risk of death was not communicated to us. I made a promise to Danny that day: our hearts will rest when safety from SUDEP is the norm. Now —10 years later— the Danny Did Foundation is established in our work to protect kids facing seizures, but urgent needs remain for moms and dads in the epilepsy community. Every gift empowers us to be there for those families, and to fulfill our promise to Danny.
