I love the Danny Did Foundation! I am so very excited to be running my first marathon in support of those living with epilepsy, as a member of Team Danny Did.
I ran my first half marathon this past September and I knew it was finally time to level up! Running is therapeutic for me, and I truly enjoy the training process. I know there will be challenges along the way, so I appreciate your support.
The Danny Did Foundation was incredibly helpful in educating my family about seizure monitors when we needed to chose one for my son Caleb. They also provide financial assistance to families in need of monitors, and they help raise awareness for and educate about SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death due to Epilepsy). They are tireless in their mission to support finding a cure and supporting families affected by Epilepsy.
I run also for my son Caleb who was diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of 9. He is currently 17 years old and is 3 years seizure free with the help of medication.
