I AM PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM RUNNING MY SECOND CHICAGO MARATHON, ONCE AGAIN FOR TEAM DANNY DID!!!

I ran my first Marathon in 2022 (in a time that beat all of my ambitions) and I attribute that to all the unwavering support from the people around me! After completing this Marathon, I was hooked and knew I would be signing up for the 2023 Chicago Marathon. Sadly, I suffered a knee injury during training that kept me from safely running in 2023, BUT it is a new year, my PT paid off, and I'm back running and ready to crush it at the 2024 Chicago Marathon!!!

As mentioned, I will once again be running for The Danny Did Foundation (DDF). The Danny Did Foundation was founded in 2010 in Danny Stanton's name with the mission to "advance public awareness of epilepsy and the risk of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP), to protect people with epilepsy, and to prevent deaths caused by seizures."

I have developed a deep connection withThe Danny Did Foundation as it was founded in my home neighborhood - where Danny Stanton gew up. Edgebrook knew him as a boy who loved all sports and was always running around having fun. While I've been able to support the DDF in many roles over the years (as a high school ambassador, a college ambassador, and an event volunteer) it is this opportunity to channel Danny's fun and enthusiasm into my running to complete this (and many more) marathons in his name, that has made me feel the most connected to Danny, The Danny Did Foundation, and SUDEP education as a whole. And I am hoping my friends and family can help me in this endeavor too.

Please help me achieve my fundraising goal of $1,750 by donating to my page. Your donation will contribute to the work of the Danny Did Foundation. Thank you for your time and support, now, “please go and enjoy your life. Danny Did!”
