I am running this marathon for Brendan Burke and his amazing family. Brendan was born with Dup15Q syndrome. He is an amazing young man who inspires every single person who has the privilege of meeting him. His mother, Ember, is my hero. She is the strongest, bravest woman I know. We have run 3 marathons together. I always said when the time was right and for the right reason, I would do this one more time. Brendan is my motivation, and I hope that by watching my journey to train again and all that I will share about their family, you will be inspired to donate to this very worthy cause. thank you
