I'm choosing to make my miles more meaningful by running the 2019 Chicago Marathon with the Danny Did Foundation. Those who know me know I come from a big family of girls, and that one of my sisters, Holly, has been living with Epilepsy from childhood into adulthood. Ever since she was diagnosed with Epilepsy at eight years old, my parents have gone above and beyond to manage her different types of seizures, including grand mal seizures, in addition to numerous other health obstacles. She is now 33, yet throughout all that she has endured, Holly remains her positive, warmhearted, good-natured self. Because I have witnessed firsthand how complex epilepsy is and how it impacts a person and their loved ones, I'm excited to run for a cause that hits so close to home. Please consider joining me in raising funds and awareness to help prevent deaths caused by Epileptic seizures.
